Police have called for football fans to enjoy Saturday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at Turf Moor peacefully.

Burnley take on City in a 5-30pm kick off and there will be a visible policing presence.

Supt Julian Platt, of East Division, said: “There will be a larger visible police presence in and around the ground and the town centre to ensure public safety.

“Any so-called fans that cause disruption will face the consequences of their actions.”
