Covid cases falling again in Pendle

This week's Covid-19 statistics for Pendle show that lockdown is continuing to reduce the spread of the virus.
The number of new cases has gone down again but sadly there are still people in Pendle who have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.

Hide AdThere were 117 new cases recorded that resulted in an overall infection rate of 144.4 per 100,000 people in the borough.
For the fifth week in a row, the age group of most new cases is 30-39.
There has now been 9,303 cases in Pendle since the start of the pandemic and 235 deaths.
Pendle Council is now urging people to get tested for the virus because not everyone who has the virus has symptoms.
