Brierfield man (53) faces child porn charges
A 53-year-old man appeared before Burnley magistrates, accused of 13 child porn allegations, nine of them said to involve images in the most serious category.
A David Ashley, of Humphrey Street, Brierfield, is charged with making an indecent photo of a child, on or between October 1st, 2014, and March 5th, 2015, at Brierfield. Nine counts relate to images in Category A, the most serious level, one charge allegedly involves a Category B picture and three allegations relate to Category C photos.
The defendant did not indicate pleas. His case was sent to crown court and he was bailed until a preliminary hearing on November 23rd.
