Firefighters at scene of Burnley blaze for three hours

Firefighers spent three hours tackling a fire in Burnley's Accrington Road yesterday.

Crews from Burnley and Hyndburn were called out to the commercial property just before 5pm where they found a quantity of commercial and domestic waste on fire.

They set about extinguishing the flames using one hose reel, one breathing apparatus and one ejector pump.
