Laying flowers at memorial to brave soldier
My name is Anne Hull and my mother was Annie Kellett, sister to May Kellett. Aunty May was married to Uncle Alwyn, on January 15th 1944, who is the brother to James Booth the First World War soldier.
I know Aunty May and Uncle Alwyn moved to Blackpool but I was only a little girl then, I was born in 1946. It is a wonderful thing that has been done to honour James and I am sure both the Kellett and Booth families would be very pleased and thankful for the kindness and generosity to James’s memory.
I have visited the memorial today and laid flowers on behalf of both families.
I have also contacted Andrew Brown to thank him for his generosity and kindness. I would like to pass on my thanks to all concerned on behalf of our families for all their kindness.
