400 parcels were taken to different locations around the town including Pendle Road, Bolland Prospect and Castleford by around 30 volunteers, including Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans.
A spokesman for Clitheroe Mosque - The Mount said: "Thanks to everyone for their donations and thank you for your kind words of appreciation. We have received so many phone calls and messages of thanks. We feel honoured and duty bound to serve the community in these difficult times. None of us will be feeling comfortable about life as it currently is, but we can try and make it a little bit better for each other in lots of ways. Stay safe and stay blessed."
