Elle Toye and her partner Alan Pye will host a fundraiser at Woodside Home for the Elderly on Saturday (March 7th) to raise money for the businesses and shops worst hit by the floods caused by Storm Ciara last month.
Elle (30) said: "It was awful to see the owners of these shops and businesses so badly hit through no fault of their own.

"I was in Padiham with a friend the day before the floods hit and within hours this devastation was caused."
Alan, who is 29, is an activity co-ordinator at the home in Burnley Road and Elle is resident singer there and will be performing at the fund raiser on Saturday at 1pm.
Elle added: "The event is open to anyone and we really hope that residents' families and friends will come along to support the day.

The event runs from 10am to 3pm and the £2 entry includes a raffle ticket. Tea and biscuits will be served and there will be stalls including Tilly Jo Bakes and Honey B's handmade children's clothing.
Several local businesses have also donated items for prizes.
