Burnley book their place in history
Burnley’s 333-3 finish against their mini-derby rivals at Turf Moor was a club best, helping to ease the hurt that was inflicted when their remarkable Worsley Cup run was brought to an end.
Opener Liam Bedford contributed with 74 runs, putting on a 129-run partnership with professional Chris Holt who culminated the innings on 120. Joey Marshall also hit his maiden half-century for the club, finishing unbeaten on 59.
