Dyche tried to land England star Kane
Spurs are the visitors for a live Sky Sports fixture, with Kane fresh from making his full international debut in a season to remember.
The 21-year-old has 29 goals for Spurs, including one against the Clarets, so far this term, and netted after 79 seconds of his England debut on Friday night against Lithuania.

“We tried to bring him here.
“But I think he’s a good reflection of us as managers when we speak about players going out on loan, because it doesn’t always have to be the glory loan, where it works every time, and he’s had his ups and downs.
“That can be a massive part of a young player’s development, when it doesn’t always work hand in glove.”
Kane netted against Burnley at Turf Moor while on loan at Millwall three years ago in a 3-1 win for the Lions, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing: “He was out at Millwall and possibly it was a step too early when he went out to Norwich in the Premier League, to Leicester...bits and bobs off the bench, a few starts here and there, but all that - for a young man who seems to have a very good temperament and desire to be a footballer - eventually you get your rewards.

“You keep sharpening your game, ready to play when called upon.”
